I suggest a slew of no name actors from Eastern Europe with bad English accents, and maybe David Carradine.

I can't wait to get this. It took Williams St. forever to ship mine, and it's due any day now.

I want to say the same kind of dick-ish things on anything related to the Decemberists or Bright Eyes music threads— but then I read comments like these on shows/music/films I friggin' LOVE, and it bugs me.

Not really.

To watch the show?

It seems to me that Groening WAS addressing why the show has gone "downhill" by talking about how old the show is. You can't make an "eat my shorts" joke now in the same manner because of how the Simpsons has become a cultural institution.

I, 4 1, find it 2318008.

They smell like wet dogs.

I was happy with the deportation thing, but I didn't like the deus ex machina thing about NZ vs. US dollars.

OOOHH! The Nerves. Seconded!

I think that's the thing with most power pop. It's rather hit or miss. I think the Shake Some Action album is really good. Their cover of "Misery" is great, and "You Tore Me Down" is a fine one (and was later covered by Yo La Tengo).

Elvis Costello? No way. Too esoteric for Power pop. Cars— too new wave with their synth stuff.

You forgot Flaming Groovies.

I love that song… but it's a horrible place for geeky power pop fans.

The birds and the bees conversation
As these young, flighty teens are coming of age, who will have the important chat with them about keeping eggs warm?

Please keep the teenage turtles love of pizza and the "cowabunga" expression intact.

I find her combination of bad food recipes and MILFy rack mesmerizing… but then again I find Giada De Laurentiis's tasty recipes and nice rack mesmerizing.

If you say "really?" in a high-pitched Murray voice it's okay, the way he did in the "Unnatural Love" episode.

I never liked Business Time either Mr. Grouchy. I liked "Cheer Up Murray."

What will Tyra say about this?
I expect it to be very poignant.
