That's weird. I can't possible imagine anyone saying that Whiplash's story or editing (especially editing) was poor. But different opinions and all that.
Also, me being high might have contributed to my initial comment.
Is it just me or was that one of the best sitcom episodes of all time?
Everyone has that experience when they first watch The Wire. People expect crazy brilliance right out the gate. It's not that the first few episodes are bad or anything it's just that it's so revolutionary that it's really hard to wrap your head around at first. The show literally teaches you how to watch it. What I…
That's interesting, everyone's been saying that this is PTA's least accessible movie because the plot is so convoluted. I'm still super pumped for it.
Screw that, Boogie Nights should have won every category.
Tom Hardy in Locke was a pretty excellent character. Also, screw the backlash for Foxcatcher, Steve Carrel played an awesome character as well.
That trailer is fucking perfect. Whoever does Fincher's trailers is awesome cuz The Social Network trailer is like the greatest trailer ever.
I literally don't understand people who say The Master goes nowhere. It boggles my mind. I'm not being smug when I say that that movie, to me, is 2 and a half hours of bliss.

Bodie's back from the dead!
What is more likely, is that they completely forgot they introduced that plot point.
I don't know about you guys, but for some reason, I read all of these Hatesongs in the same tone and cadence.
Who the hell was that mole in season 1?
I had a similar experience with this film. I find it so cool that we both have friends that are willing to see a movie like this and discuss it. I find that incredibly rare. What I've found is that the distinction between liking this movie and not liking this movie does not boil down to individual interpretations. It…
Seeing The Master on the big screen was honestly the greatest movie-going experience I've ever had. The minute it was over, I knew that it would be one of my favorite movies of all time and what I could quantify as a masterpiece. I was surprised when I found out that people came out of it not knowing what to make of…
I can definitely relate to this. I was questioning myself for giving Gravity an A as opposed to an A+.
Is it just me or does this sound like that one song from drive?
