Well, I'm glad to see Armie Hammer getting lead roles after The Social Network—even if they're in movies like this crappy piece of stupid crap.

A faithful adaptation of Blood Meridian would make an awful movie.  There's no plot, and—quite by design—the protagonist has absolutely no depth as a character.  The allusive prose is the only thing separating this masterwork from an amateurish pile of crap.  Not something you can replicate on screen.
