I don't know why you'd reply to a C+ review by saying the series is overrated, but then again, I don't know why I'd reply just to say I don't know why. So there ya go.

BUFFY SEASON 6 & 7 SPOILERS

BUFFY & ANGEL SPOILERS APLENTY

I keep waiting for Angel to get good, and it keeps disappointing. I'm on disc 4 of season 5 and it's still pretty hit-or-miss. There was just a HORRIBLE flashback episode that put Angel and Spike on a submarine during WWII.

I would have watched them in order, but season 1 came in a 2-pack with season 1 of Buffy, and seasons 3 & 4 were in a 2-pack at Target for $20. I got seasons 2 and 5 on Amazon and 2 came first (still waiting for 5).

Maybe I just don't like Angel enough for the theme song to grow on me. I've watched seasons 1, 3, and 4 and am 1 disc into season 2. I loved season 3 and the first half of season 4, but the rest of the series so far is really bad. Like, Ghost Whisperer bad. I Robot, You Jane stands out as the worst episode of Buffy by

I guess I'm really in the minority, then, because I can't stand the Angel theme song. The Buffy theme may be dated, but it shares the show's sense of fun. The Angel song is too angsty by half, and the first couple shots of the opening credits (featuring people crying out in pain) are way too serious for a show

The people who made the show were very open about making it up as they went along, but I never heard anyone complain about that method of storytelling until after the finale. Go back and check the comment boards for the episodes leading up to the end and you'll find most people anxiously looking forward to it. Now any

BSG SPOILERS BE HERE

My main beef with Riley is that his dialogue is a little too forcefully wholesome. He sounds like Leave it to Beaver, in a condescending, "country folk talk like that" kind of way. Talking to his frat brothers/fellow soldiers about Buffy: "You knew I had feelings for her?" "I've never courted anyone like her before."

Judging by TfAD's post, I'd say he's the guy to go to when it comes to humor.

To be fair, Payback is pretty fun. That's mostly because of the cast, though.

(BSG finale spoilers) The final two seasons of BSG weren't as spotty as, say, Lost has been. I wasn't floored by the final episode, but like Mose said, most of the characters had emotionally fulfilling endings, and if you just forget the "150,000 years later" bullshit it's a pretty decent ending (although I admit it's

I wouldn't have a problem with one regular user asking about another regular user's baby… but that's just me, I guess.
