Last week I'd finally come to accept this show was never going to get near the potential it showed late last season, and then they do this. I didn't think it was amazing, just a very solid episode, but it's the first time in a while where the writing hasn't had major flaws that drag down this great cast.

I definitely have fallen in the trap of thinking that bigotry, despite the inherent lack of critical thinking behind it, would be expressed logically or have logical consequences. That's just not how it works.

Old Dr. Who is probably the show where I'm most blinded by nostalgia, so even episodes I wouldn't recommend to anyone are generally ones I'd still watch again.
I think their longest streak of episodes was the Key To Time series, which was of course uneven.

One thing that would have improved it a little is showing people being skeptical of the reports even as the problems spread, since I'd think the majority of the population wouldn't believe them.
