I remember when Connor was born on Angel, the recappers over at  TWOP would every week ask in exasperation "WHY IS THERE A BABY ON THIS SHOW?"  I feel my reaction to Hayley's progeny will be the same.  Good rule of thumb: babies rarely if ever make noir vampire dramas better.

I thought that this sentence was going to end with "the scariest punk could still never be as scary as a ventriloquist's dummy."  And that would also be true.

I hated the pilot for The Vampire Diaries.  I bought the whole season off iTunes to take on a trip with me, and had I not, I probably would never have gotten past the first few episodes.  Which would have been my loss, as, for about 2.5 seasons, this was one of the most entertaining shows on network TV.  All of this

I'm pretty sure that Ashley did not have so much as a handbag with her when she boarded the plane.  My first thought was "how the hell is she going to get into Croydon without a passport?"

"Lisa" Frank.  Not Anne Frank.

I tried to like your comment, but after three clicks and no likes appearing, I decided just to chime in with a hearty "here here!"  While I understand that, by necessity, a series regular is going to outlast a guest star, I intentionally avoid casting news for just this reason.

My first comment was that it reminded me of Buffy!  (Probably more accurately given the tone, Angel.)  The individual components of Buffy were frequently ridiculous, but they managed to turn it into something wonderful because of the characters and relationships.  I'm not sure that I'm optimistic Sleepy Hollow will be

I don't disagree.  But I think it's hypocritical that people defend Walt's desire for revenge on Jesse, but criticize Jesse in seeking revenge through ratting out Walt. There are no good guys on this show.

One other point: Jesse doesn't rat because he's scared for his own safety or because he wants to keep himself out of jail.  Jesse was home free — the mysterious van of new identity was coming to pick him up.  He "ratted" because Walt did absolutely terrible things to Jesse and Walt DESERVED to be punished for those

I think this is a great point.  My favorite thing about this show is that the writers rarely if ever insult our intelligence as viewers and I think this ties into the decision to focus on the reactions rather than the preceding events.  We KNOW, approximately, what Skylar said to Junior, what Jesse likely told Todd

Okay, maybe there is just a vocal Jesse support base.  I don't make assumptions — I read the comments.  That said, I absolutely understand why Walt wants Jesse dead.  I also understand that Walt is the villain of this show.

Jesse is my favorite character — as he is for most people.  And, as did many others, I really wanted him to make it out of this alive.  But with this week's horror show — the topping on a year's worth of horrors heaped on Jesses due to his allegiance with Walt — I think the happiest ending Jesse gets is dying with a

Just reading the summary of Bill describing Dallas to Fredericks got me teary-eyed.  Probably my favorite scene of the series.

When Starr did a guest appearance on New Girl I couldn't even recognize him as the same person.  Which is to say, he is a phenomenal actor.

@avclub-ae75b895689d74f9c5a1baae54ff8a4a:disqus  No no no!  That ending would be too much sunshine and rainbows for this beautifully dark show.  I want Jesse to be the last man standing, but the closest thing to a happy ending that would satisfy me would be to see him with a one-way ticket to Alaska.

I liked both Jess and Logan to a point.  But on the whole I found the mother-daughter relationships and Lorelei's relationships with Luke and Christopher far more compelling (also Rory's relationship with Christopher, though I always wished they'd focused on it more).

I was all set to agree that this episode was a letdown.  I, like others, was particularly annoyed by the contrivance of the conveniently placed, menacing bald guy.  Mostly because I knew exactly what was going to happen as soon as he appeared on my screen — even down to the little girl running up to him after Jesse

I was completely unspoiled and have managed to mentally block out all hashtags, so when I watched the final scene, I did not interpret it as Ezra = A.  I interpreted it as Ezra (creepily) stalking Aria and discovering that A was still very much active, Aria was still very much in danger, and she and Emily had very
