History seems to prove that it's impossible to make a good film adaptation of a video game (at best, you end up with Tomb Raider or Silent Hill or something really campy like Mortal Kombat). It would be crap in real life, but I can imagine a really cool theoretical adaptation of the first Diablo.

I did a pretty good job building my character (it was tough; I'm not much of an RPG guy), but I only made it through that boss fight by buying a shitload of mines. Use speed boost, plant a couple of mines, run away, lure Malak into the mines, repeat. Heal as necessary.
