I thought season 4 was a huge letdown, but the dorm vote sequence was hilarious. I'm curious about whether it would be better or worse as a shorter sequence of a more tightly edited 22-minute episode.

She does seem more fragile, but I don't understand why; a piano could stand on those legs.
Well, let's hope so.
I enjoyed Snow Crash and loved Anathem (once I got into the plot, which kicked in after about 200 pages of slow but fascinating world-building). But I just could not get through Cryptonomicon or Quicksilver. Just lost momentum and quit on both of them, around 150 or 250 pages in.
The movie had some elements that didn't work, but overall I agree with you. It's a fun movie with solid casting and it mostly captured the tone of the book well.

That's actually what sets the plot in motion: Finn gets kicked out of the Storm Trooper Club because his aim is so much better than theirs.
As long as the opening crawl doesn't have any lines as monumentally fucking stupid as "There are heroes on both sides. Evil is everywhere" then I will consider Episode VII a relative success.
If that's what it is, he's really good at it. I love him on Comedy Bang Bang and in The League.
I'm pretty sure Jason is still very much playing a character on HDTGM, but I agree that it's hard to imagine him and Paul switching parts on The League.
Thanks! I really do miss my last band; it was by a wide margin the best group I've ever been a part of. This new project just isn't the same, but it's fun, we get along, and while the songs aren't my favorite thing music-wise, they have room for me to get a little creative with the basslines and our frontman is a…

I finally found a decent roommate after months of screening emails from various Craigslist weirdos and paying more in rent than I can really afford.
……………….
"Hurry up, goldenrod!"
There's something about Hanford's John Lennon voice on the podcast that just cracks me up even when he's not saying anything particularly funny. He has this deranged enthusiasm, where you can hear his smile in his voice, and I love it. He definitely didn't get enough to do in this ep, and I'd love to see him again…
