They clearly cut to a shot of one of the few horses that hadn't peaced out or been killed after Bronn escaped being charbroiled…so it's possible he bounced.
But I tend to believe that was him that saved Jamie's ass…and I worry that he was heading straight down after they were underwater in a rather lifeless way.

Both Newbie & Expert reviews should follow the same pattern;
A thousand words breaking down the awesomeness of the first half of the episode….followed by repeating "HOLY SHIT!" over and over until we get to Stray Observations.

Listened to Kendrick twice (so far)….probably my second favorite album of the year upon initial listens.

I'm going to get down voted into oblivion for this i'm sure but you know what? I don't care.
I'm a cynic…100% a cynic…but to the author; I hope the freelance check you're getting is worth the obvious misery you're suffering having to watch this show to review it.
This review…the comments already…it's like you people

This whole thing needs to be pulled & quoted in the actual review…perfect summation.

CBS Exec; "Your show wouldn't want you to kill me."
Shaw; "Probably. But my show is dead."
:puts two in the chest of CBS Exec…then two in the head just to be sure:

knees around the city breathed a sigh of relief in that moment

I really can't add anything to this discussion except to say; This. Fucking. Show.

I'm watching 1x01 right now (thank you, BasedNetflix)…and the same tape machine from the finale was the same tape machine Finch used in the 3 year old murder he played for Reese when he was still recruiting him…
It's the little things like this that made this show so damn great.
I already miss it…damn you, CBS!

-The look on his face as he was shuffled away from Elias & Root (as referenced in the review) pretty much sealed it.
-Going full blown Ben Linus (as referenced in my first post in these comments) in the police station was the encasing the sealed coffin holding said hope in 10 feet of concrete moment.

When I first started watching this show (and I have been onboard, without fail, since the jump entirely because I was such a HUGE fan of Emerson's 'Ben Linus' work) I would entertain myself with this notion that "Harold Finch" was one of Ben's many personas, the one he managed to escape the Island and use in a post

I can't handle it…especially since it's gonna involve Bran and he's (likely) going to be already eaten up with guilt. It's gonna be possibly more heartbreaking than tonight.

I have been saying for something like 2 seasons that hubris was going to be Dany's downfall. And I thought we had finally hit that point this year….but then I was reminded that "oh. yeah. fire can't burn the dragon." or some shit.
(I still don't like Dany so much…but at least she has Tyrion and Varys around to make her

I just had a bad thought….

I was listening to Bill Simmons podcast the other day and he said, in passing, while promoing 'After The Thrones' that he 'had it on good authority' that this weeks episode was 'an All Timer.' That kinda stuck with me while I was watching the episode…it wasn't until Hodor turned to hold the door shut that I knew what

Well….I mean…damn. Just…damn.

A couple of fine examples to add to the list of "Times Michael Emerson has channeled Ben Linus" in this series….

If I may go all "over the top fan boy" for a moment;
The opening montage was the greatest goddamn thing I've seen on television in a while…just loved it so much.

I will riot….this would be totally unacceptable.
