If they hadn't had the 7 month "vacation", there's no way they could be handling all of this. Philip seems to be better, but Elizabeth is kind of a mess. They seem to be okay if only one is a mess, but if they both are, all bets are off.

And the fact that she leaves him lying there on the ground. That's got to shock Paige.
I laughed too. I loved when Paige started talking about social change and then Henry said Pastor Tim chained himself to a fence and then Alice had to explain.. it was just awkward all around.
They've been really good about not giving him anything to be suspicious about.
I think saying 'bun in the oven" is more common, but he was trying to make a joke off that saying. But it was forced and everyone kind of laughed awkwardly.
I thought Stan said he was chatting with Philip, not chatting up.
At this point, I think Aderholt is going to end up being the one who figures out about the Jenningses. Not Stan.
OMG I thought that too. It reminded me of when he told Philip that everyone can be forgiven. But I don't think Philip and Elizabeth can forgive themselves. Will they be able to do so once the Soviet dream disintegrates or will they feel like they did all that for nothing?
I thought that Stan would pick up on some clues from the dinner, but he is so lost in his thoughts and life right now that I don't think he did at all. On the other hand, Pastor Tim probably did.
Stan's joke about the roast in the oven was terrrrible.
And Henry inviting Stan in for dinner highlighted how much Stan is…
Stan may suspect the KGB killed Gaad, but why would he suspect Philip is KGB? Many other people must have known about Gaad's trip. Gaad is retired so there was no reason for it to be a secret trip.
I thought Holly Taylor was great in that scene. She looked so surprised and confused by the pastor's wife falling apart.
I agree. I think it's more likely she threatened or used violence against Mischa's boss.
I loved that I didn't know what she'd say. I wanted her to say yes, but was sure she'd say no, but you could tell she was struggling.
I don't think so.
I could do with fewer Oleg sexy times, honestly.
I agree - we need more Arkady!
He was so tiny and adorable.
It's clear that FX sees it as something worth keeping because of the quality. It builds their reputation. As a fan I am SO grateful that they are going to let the needs of the story dictate the timing of the ending rather than the ratings. It's a rare thing nowadays.
I had that thought last week when the "7 months later" came up on the screen. The font they used It just looked exactly like something you'd see in an 80's show!
Considering how Elizabeth taught Paige to swim, it's a good thing Philip is teaching her to drive! I enjoyed the scenes of Philip and Paige together.
A cross between Stalin and Mike Ditka. lol.
