Oh. It says up there. Balls of goo.

That thing fucking rocked. It was like a political cartoon come to life. I especially liked Angry Rove. What the fuck was he throwing, melons?

His website
has a spinning dollar sign gif on it. Fucking A, man. I miss the golden days.

The only acceptable name-mit-apostrophe is Teal'c.

what.

That is, $#!+ — it's late.

Wouldn't S#!+ have been a better set of symbols?

What's great about me is that I have such a poor memory that I don't remember who dies and who doesn't, but a good enough memory that next time I read the books I know to skip the epilogue.

Thanks for the chat guys
Sorry I only caught the tail end of it. I never calculate the time difference and remember to join in, and I was finishing up Treme. Next time.

I think you mean "brassieres". If you set bras on fire you're a feminist or you're doing foreplay wrong.

Your avatar, BNB.

Oh, I agree. I don't feel like the book broke off early or anything, just that it's not the end of Martin. His future is as possible in our minds as it is in his world, either dreaming or waking.

I like to think that the book only told part of Martin's arc, that he's only moving on to the next stage of his life. This may be influenced by the fact that I only just caught the second-to-last episode of Treme, but hey.

Yeah, it's been bootlegged for years…but I'm a collector when it comes to Bowie. And I'm short on money this and next month. FUCK.

Over 80 for the fucking deluxe edition though. Damn my rampant consumerism.

Just found out there's a Station To Station reissue coming this month though! No extra material relating to the album though, really; but I guess that makes sense considering the hazy, crazy, cocaine-fuelled stories surrounding the entire production of the album.

It wouldn't be so bad if they weren't so fucking expensive second-hand. It's the same with the Rhino Elvis Costello double-discs which seemed to disappear overnight (and what the fuck do we get now? Re-releases in cunting "replica LP sleeves").

No prob. Second disc's only got a couple of remixes and a couple of songs on it but the two songs are worth it if you can get it at a decent price. Which I'm guessing you can, as they're on eBay here in the UK for 1 to 2.

In Soviet Russia, vacuous space bangs YOU!

Biggles: Yep, pretty sure that's the version on Heathen as well. Rawk. And Teenage Wildlife is what first really made me sit up and look into Fripp. I'm not normally one to bang on about guitar work but that shit seriously sounds like water flowing.
