Anybody else notice the dig at The Last Airbender? Dude.

Die Hard sprang to mind for me as well. I still associate Christmas with Ode To Joy. But hell, what what.

MANT

Didn't look like no
farce to me.

Is there any plot? I'm not a twat but purely visual cinema isn't my thing.

Probably because she was about three when her first album came out.

Same here. I even checked the Wikipedia article which told me that the ads are fake. Hmm.

Honestly?
I knew I didn't care after the words "Leggy, headstrong Amy Henderson set out for Hollywood". Not my thang.

So
Slow news day?

Aw man, hot dogs. I didn't know that it was this film until I saw the still but I saw the trailer when it was posted here. You should really check it out, it looks so fucking blah. Seriously.

I'm a dropout too! There's hope yet.

I've been pretty much fed up of zombies for at least a couple of years now. They just seemed to be everywhere all of a sudden, and everybody thinks they're hilarious and cool and kooky, but their effect on me is about the same as hearing the word "random" inserted, seemingly AT random, into every sentence that come

I can't believe I've missed this guy's posts before. Reading through them is as weird as watching other people's silent home movies presumably is.

I agree
with points from everybody here. Mostly though, Todd's assertion that each catharsis occurs in the sections' second halves, which struck me too; and Tasha's idea of a ride down and a slog up.

Todd, how the hell do you remember stuff like that? Please tell me you looked it up, I feel bad enough about my own terrible memory as it is. I'm already having trouble remembering Cloud Atlas.

Jeez, I hadn't even considered that! It's quite interesting to see how literary devices fail to mesh with different ways of reading books, and how we're so conditioned to a conventional linear format that we immediately assume that a digital problem is afoot.

I haven't seen Saboteur
but that shot at the head of the article kicks fucking ass. It took me a few seconds to figure out what it was (mostly because I was expecting a picture of Robert Boyle).

Way to fuck up a trailer
voiceover man

Fucking twitter
"twitpic" about sums it up.

This is turning into a PAAAAAAAAAAARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY
