I suppose. But why bring attention to Brody feeling sad, just seconds before the bomb goes off? He made this response, the minute Carrie chose him. As if, he felt bad for what he was going to do (like he didn't expect Carrie to choose him). Oh well. I'm not really saying that Brody has to be 100% it. My point really

The writers will say: well, if Nazir made it obvious - then they wouldn't have bought into the long con.

Didn't really redeem it for me. The flaws of this season still stick out like a sore thumb. Although realistically speaking, it was silly to expect ONE episode to make individual episodes become better.

Well, for me - it just seems really implausible that this plan was pulled off without I. Brody being in on it the entire time. II. A mole within the CIA.

Heh, AVGN.

Great finale. It was a lot more character-centric than the rest of the season, and so there was a lot of really good dialogue/ scenes that packed an emotional punch (although some of lovey dubby stuff was cringe inducing). My only issue, if anything, is the whole explanation for the attack. Not sure I buy Nazir's

It's cute that everyone keeps using cute. Also it's cute that so many people in this thread don't think Breaking Bad is the best thing on TV.

Yeah…except Homeland season 2 was awful.

Well, I think a lot of it has to do with Walden. And I think they handled the Walden plot really poorly. Estes depended 100% on Walden. When Saul came forward to Estes with the tape of Brody, and Estes was like FUCK. He wasn't just saying fuck, because he would get fired for allowing someone like Brody to sneak past
