Don't know which show you have been watching, but season 2 has been severely lacking in character writing/  plot compared to first season. The focus of the drama and tension has shifted from the two main characters and has been pushed by a vague impending threat.

@eric827:disqus is right. I just meant, the casual way Estes was about the situation, struck me as dumb. It would be pretty massive news, if a national hero/congressman was MURDERED by a terrorist group - within the United States. It would bring so much attention. It would be much easier to just kidnap

@tossin I'm not saying I want that to happen. I agree, that would be ridiculous and very 24 like. Would be downright silly.

I started to laugh when Abu Nazir looked back at Carrie in the dark with the flashlight illuminating his face. The whole thing was just too ridiculous.

I actually did! I really enjoyed the dialogue scenes that were removed from the silly action plot. But those scenes weren't enough for me, to really say it made up for the episode. And this is also where I and Todd (and some of you good people) part on our opinions. I personally do not think the character stuff this

Of course. I try not to be too nit picky though (I know that sounds laughable, given I have major issues with the plausibility of this show). But Carrie walking around the way she does, I just say - fuck it, go with it. But I can't believe she would get an entire team to look for him (in the dark no less), and she

So that was a dumb episode.

Not many shows during their run stay as good as their prime or as good as when the show was someones favorite.
