more likely the emergency manager will demand we sell all of the valuable aspects of the temple, and white's efforts will be moot.

Nobody died? I'm sorry, did they not kill the dude at the chapel in 1? did i misunderstand that part of the film too?
I liked the Jenny McCarthy episode a little bit, but I felt like Andy Richter did all of the heavy lifting, and any moderately attractive woman who could play mid 20s to late 30s could have done as well.
I feel bad for the guy, because I'm fairly sure he was in Chuck and even in a nerd show about nerds who work in a Nerd Herd, he was mocked. Asking for his 15 minutes to be over is a little painful, because he basically only gets a chance, as an actor, to be typecast as a horrible ugly nerd, and not a cool Hollywood…
finally had a chance to catch up on the show after a few weeks of not having a functional dvr.
this episode was disappointing, but i continue enjoying supernatural procedurals in the same way i liked watching Eureka. The show doesn't have to be great or artistically to be enjoyable. The banter between Kenzi and Bo is…
So, I'm torn. I found the conclusion effective but not affecting. I've been pleased, generally, by having Sanderson take over except when it comes to the battle scenes. There's no sense of weight to them for me, because there's nobody that I care about in danger, for the most part. Or rather, there is no suspense…
What do you mean I can't have any pudding until I eat my meat?
I don't like the way Sanderson writes the battles, because there's no sense of stakes, but I'm super geeked that it's finally going to come out. I'm a bit sad that Borders didn't last until the end of the series, because now I have to find a Barnes and Noble.

So basically, nobody but me is excited to finally be done with the Wheel of Time series? [I'm not entirely surprised]

part of the problem is that Tarantino really skimped on showing rather than telling, but house slaves were given power and authority at a time when few black people had either, and the view was widely that they would be more diligent in observing the "wrongs" of other slaves and reporting or punishing. The threat of…

is it really inverting the magical negro, or is it just an ordinary use of the wise elder? the magical negro, after all, is a subset.

Candie seemed too much like someone who, given the information he had just received and his stated intention to preemptively kill Broomhilda, would have shot first, forcing Waltz to shoot back. I was actually quite surprised to see Waltz shoot first, from a narrative standpoint, even if morally it made sense to me.

a small part of me thought the guy playing the guitar was daniel radcliff, but that's apparently only because i have no idea what he looks like.

I would like to subscribe to your pamphlet.
