Agreed. I went back to some of the Monster of the Week stuff recently, and it allowed the showrunners to focus on worldbuilding with Bo and her past as the focus. When they drive at the season long plot, all of the character motivations feel incompatible with what I've learned about the characters. I keep feeling…

As far as the love interests go, Dyson is the only one that makes sense to me. I think without a more fleshed out feel for Bo's years running around, it doesn't make sense to have her cling to a random human just because she's associated with the Fae. Which is to say: I think it makes more sense that she has the…

Are we going to have to sit through Lauren explaining how the succubus power is transmitted via all of Bo's bodily fluids, because otherwise what is the point of having a fae doctor on the show? Because if they start explaining the genesis of powers and Lauren eventually offers Bo a "cure" in the vein of X-Men, I'll…

I thought it had something to do with the relative strength of their powers. I clearly wasn't pay as much attention to the mythology in the first season, though, since I kind of just assumed the snake guy at the college was a regular fae, as was the bruiser in the pilot (I think that was the pilot, anyway).
