That's the best ZMF post EVER.

WOAH
Warbucks.
War Bucks.
I just got that.

Jesus, I dropped it on a newswire instead of a feature because I thought it would be LESS annoying. Never underestimate the hostility of the internet.

Oh sweet Christ yes. I tried once before but I failed. I just wanted to do that once in my life. Never again.

I wonder how many people are participating here. Is it a bunch of people putting up one or two posts each, or like, two or three guys who've been at this for almost a day now?

You gotta love the scattered pockets of serious discussion of Zoroastrianism in a thread that also includes "Univac Motherfucker" and "Necrophiliac Smotherer/Fucker."

To the people who keep saying things like "Ok, that's enough":
Shut the fuck up. If you don't think the thread is funny, don't read it. The participants are obviously enjoying themselves. Don't be a douche.

I actually always hated firsties. I just saw the blank page and thought "What the hell, live a little." That thought never led to anything good for anyone.

Nah. I made a promise. I'm a man of my word.

Wow, three false firsts in a row. Do we win something?

Oh, God DAMMIT.

I had to, just once.
First.
I will never do that again.

Zing.
Not quite an exclamation-point caliber zing, but a zing.

I have three things to say
1) I accidentally posted a blank comment with the title "I have two things to say."
2) Yoko Ono sucks.
3) I hope she wins, because nu-metal sucks harder.

I have two things to say

Ah, well-put. I suppose it's difficult to know whether or not the musician did ask that question, though—but for the first time, I see the self-indulgence argument as legitimate.

But prog rock doesn't just say "Hey, look at me!" Like all music, it is meant to be moving, and to those of us that enjoy it, it is moving. True, it's also impressive and sometimes virtuosic, but it seems to me that people confuse virtuosity with showing off. The two don't always go together.

Yep, double-posted. Sorry. There should really be a way to delete your comments so this doesn't happen.

I gotta say
It's nice to read a negative prog review that doesn't just bitch obnoxiously about prog rock in general. Criticism of prog has always bothered me with its repetition of inane complaints. "Overblown?" Obviously some people like their music on the ridiculous side, what's wrong with that? "Pretentious?" What

I just wanna say
It's really refreshing to see a negative prog review that doesn't just bitch about the music being "pretentious" and "overblown." Criticism of prg rock has always bothered me with its repetition of inane complaints. "Overblown?" Clearly there are some people who like their music on the ridiculous
