Right. "Marvelman" as a strip in WARRIOR predates SWAMP THING.

(Something-something "why does Thunderbolt as the largest Ross not simply eat the other Rosses"?)
* (also known as the worst FRIENDS episode)
Is this character related to "Thunderbolt" Ross in the comics? With William Hurt reprising that role here, I wonder if they'll make them family in the MCU just to avoid the confusion of too many Rosses. . . *
Wasn't JEJ as Haley only in ROOTS: THE NEXT GENERATIONS? I don't recall him being in the original. . .
On the other hand, I always read it as Geordi rebelling against the programming. His subconscious redirecting the urge to shoot into the deliberate yet harmless spill.
Spoiler Space link is broken. But I *want* to be spoiled. . . !
See, every time people have been suggesting her, I've been mentally agreeing but picturing Jayma Mays. So now I say, "Jayma Mays!"
I thought it was "So [get] up on your feet". . .
Weird that Sony would have the rights to Urich, since he debuted in DAREDEVIL.
Darth Patricide
It didn't help that the cinematography was so clean and crisp. And the clothes that were supposed to be Rocky's outfit circa ROCKY looked like it'd come right off a Hollywood wardrobe rack. The whole thing looked THE UNAUTHORIZED ROCKY STORY on Lifetime.
Here's one thing I may have been alone in missing - why exactly was Trish so super-security-conscious? In the early going, I thought perhaps her bond with Jessica came out of a shared victimization by Killgrave. But since that turned out to not be the case, what was Trish's deal? Did just hearing about what Killgrave…
I recall reading Olyphant took HITMAN to make up for the income lost by DEADWOOD's cancellation (he had just bought a house). When asked if he was going to be in the HITMAN sequel, he replied, "No, the house is all paid for."
Maybe. .. but she'd be an every better Destiny!
Plus: none. The portal didn't open until after the drink. Stark got into his new armor and blasted Loki, THEN the portal opened.
Can we please stop pretending that "Gary Kurtz quit because Lucas was a sellout" is the gospel truth? That's what Kurtz has been claiming for the last few years, but Lucas has pretty consistent in saying that Kurtz was fired for not controlling the EMPIRE budget overruns. Either man's story could be spin, of course,…
Plus, I distinctly remember a goodly number of people in 1983 preferring JEDI to the "too dark/doesn't have an ending" EMPIRE. I don't agree now, but I definitely recall that being the consensus at the time. Much like the idea that SUPERMAN II was superior to the first because it didn't need a "boring" hour of setup.
Betamax or BetaCAM? I've worked in broadcasting since the 1990s (national, not local, but still) and have never heard of Betamax being used professionally. The cassettes appear similar, but are different formats.
I dropped this show in s1 around the fourth episode - too unremittingly grim. Visuals I've seen for the second season and (pardon the pun) rapturous reviews like the above have me reconsidering. Can I jump in with Ep 2.1 and whatever "Previously On" they offer, or is it critical to see ALL of Season One?
