Nope, I just double-checked it: Sam reaches across his book to grab Gilly's and hands that one to Little Sam. I'd post a framegrab if I could figure out how. : |

I think Sam didn't *plan* to bring the book of annulments with him, but my read of him handing it off dismissively to Little Sam is that it will come along with them among Little Sam's toys and then be noticed by Big Sam at Just The Right Moment.

Cue Frakes. . . (is he still around?)

I have yet to rewatch SCOTT. On first viewing, I enjoyed it well enough, but much less than Wright's other films. That might just be the Anglophile/gamer-agnostic in me, though.

I think I am the only one in creations who likes SHAUN least of the trilogy. Love HOT FUZZ, love WORLD'S END, enjoy SHAUN.

Is it only me that wants to know how and why Nicki and Wrench became long-term partners? The combo is very appealing, but I'm not sure of the logic of them sticking together after escaping the bus attack. Was Wrench that mad they tried to kill him, or did Nicki just sell him that well on how lucrative ripping Varga

As much as others want SWANGO & WRENCH, I want a GLORIA & WINNIE spinoff.

A question just occurred to me on rewatch: what exactly is Chuck suing HHM for? As far as I can tell, all Howard did was recommend that Chuck retire? He didn't force it, he didn't bar him from the office. . . what is the nature of Chuck's legal action?

I'd split the difference - I don't think the relationship was planned in the first AVENGERS script, but there was tons of chemistry to be found betweent eh actors onscreen. Enough that exploring a relationship in the sequel is, if not mandatory, at least not unbelievable.

MAN OF STEEL's Jonathan Kent was badly-written and nonsensical, but Costner acted it well enough. "You *are* my son" had me tearing up in the trailers.

Whereas I discovered quite by mistake that the completely deadpan nature of the film makes it a potential gigglefest if you get off on the wrong foot.* One friend and I who had seen HENRY were showing it to a newbie third, and somehow we made one joke at the top and couldn't stop. Really well made, grim film - but so

Yeah, that was one of the (many) misteps in HANNIBAL (the book and film). All of the folks Lecter kills therein are worse than him or at least kind of have it coming. Whereas SILENCE's filmmakers, as magnetic as they made Lecter, were willing to let him kill totally decent, innocent folks like those guards.

Wanting TOS-faithful production design is not the same as wanting 1960s-quality effects. DS9 and ENTERPRISE prove we can keep that aesthetic and still look terrific.

I'm figuring Nacho can just replace Hector's medicine with sugar pills and let nature take it's course. Tio was not looking good there. . .

Watch O'Neil on BIG APPLE or JOHN FROM CINCINNATI. I consider him one of the three best performers of "Milch-speak" ever. (Just behind Ian McShane and Dennis Franz, and just ahead of Kevin Dunn [LUCK]). I'm not at all sorry McShane was Swearengen - but I'd love to peek into the parallel universes where O'Neil and

What part of "The Irishman is here to take all you guineas' money" did you not understand?

I had less of a problem with Drax surviving that than Gamora's arm not ripping off. Drax survived a beating from Ronan (who is in Thanos's neighborhood, strength-wise). Gamora, based on her fight with Quill in the first film, seems to have only human-level strength.

Me, too. Hard to say without knowing exactly what they've shot with Fisher for Ep8, but I'd have tried hard to look for scenes there that could be transplanted/repurposed for Ep 9 so Leia could still be present in the film. If you did that, a non-speaking CG Leia taking part in whatever the Ep9 equivalent of the Yub

We don't have a lot to go on about how much Leia/R2 know about Ben's exact location, so I'm not sure we can know R2 knew where he was going. But even so - R2 and 3PO went in different directions, got caught by the same Jawas, and end up getting sold to the secret twin brother of the person sending the message. The
