For some reason I kept feeling like this was somehow Mad Men's version of "Flashes Before Your Eyes" or any other Desmond centric episode of Lost.

I like trashy television more than almost anyone I know. I watched Splash right before this and genuinely sort of enjoyed it. But Ready for Love is just too stupid for me. Worst of all, it's just absurdly boring.

I was at an advance screening of 50/50 a few years back and Ebert was in the audience. To me, that was just insanely cool… watching a movie with one of the very best at watching movies. Like playing a round of gold with Tiger Woods or something.

Though it looks like a swap may be coming next episode, so voting Laura out because she sucked at challenges may be all for nought anyway.

All I remember about her is that she's a race car driver.

Exactly this. Some people seem to be conflating UCB with an actual comedy club. UCB is much more of a theater. At UCB LA it's mostly improv and sketch, (maybe something like 90%) whereas most comedy clubs focus on standup and cater to a MUCH different audience. Guys like Aziz Ansari who can sell out huge tours do

Stu Pickles is totally the Randy Marsh of Rugrats.

Don't forget that Dexter will meet a woman who he can FINALLY be himself with.

There aren't IntTrade odds up for the Academy Awards yet, but I've got to imagine DDL is going to be pretty damn close to a lock for Best Actor. I've never felt so confident about an award prediction this far in advance.

Oh, God, this was my FIRST reactions as well. That one honestly broke my heart more than when my actual parents got divorced, 'cause that was more relieving than anything. But Thurston and Kim… that was TRUE LOVE.

Doug Loves Movies has been on friggin' fire the last few weeks. It's almost becoming the podcast I look most forward to listening to.

I guess this is my chance to pimp my podcast on the AV Club. A couple of weeks ago we had an hour-long episode devoted to the story of LFO. This would've made a nice epilogue. http://www.pithetic.com/pos…
