And that right there is why we're all gonna die. That and the inexorable march of time, that's just going to kill us more quickly.

The folks over at FX are generally pretty smart about what they put on the air (except for the 10/90 stuff like Anger Management, but even that is at least intended to help fund stuff like Louie), so I'm trying to give the OJ thing the benefit of the doubt. After seeing a few ads I'm completely on the fence. It could…
This is the most perfect comment ever. All of the fools posting after you should have just given up and gone home.
I'd like to read them all again at some point because my memory is hazy, but I recall really liking the sixth book. I remember it being lean and fast paced and a lot of fun.
Getting upset about the piano teacher line seems like you're going out of your way to get offended.
He's a hilarious guy, but man does he have terrible taste in music. Whenever they veer into music talk on Never Not Funny (which is very often) I find myself shaking my head at what he and Matt think sounds good.
This makes me wish I had cable. I love me some Jimmy Pardo.
I actually like large parts of Countdown to Final Crisis. My biggest problems were that it never really went anywhere, and stuff that started out fun (Trickster and Piper tethered together and avoiding Deadshot) turned unnecessarily gross and dark (Piper tethered to Trickster's corpse and eventually having to cut off…
I thought Guardians had the same problem as Thor 2: they hired a talented, fun actor and then hid him under 100 pounds of makeup and didn't give him anything interesting to do.
I agree, but I've loved Tom Cavanagh ever since Ed, so I was predisposed to enjoy that show. I recall it being pretty good, but my weekly dose of evil Tom Cavanagh on The Flash is so much better, so I can't say I miss it very much.
It's true. Barry's mom was a pretty shallow person before he went back in time to try to stop her from being murdered.
I saw an interview with Ramsey a week or so ago where he said they've had conversations about Diggle's middle name being Stewart. A couple of days later I saw this interview with Guggenheim: http://www.darkhorizons.com…
She's probably beyond redemption in the eyes of a lot of fans, and it's a real shame. I think the show has finally figured out what to do with her and she's doing a really good job with some interesting material.
I'm more of a DC man, but I absolutely loved The Runaways. It fell off a bit after Brian K Vaughn left, but that first arc is just about perfect. Are any of the other characters still kicking around the Marvel U?
That was one of the only parts of Breaking Bad that didn't really work for me. When they first introduced Mike it seemed pretty clear that he was Saul's guy. His cleaner, the guy he called when he needed dirty work done.
But AV Clubbers put all their chips on everything being a miserable failure. It's more fun to snark on things than it is to anticipate them and open yourself up to disappointment.
Yes. Yes it is.
I agree that a movie with Batman and Superman will sell tickets no matter the title. It's a slam dunk.
I completely agree. People are raving about that movie but I was very underwhelmed. Incredibly generic and kinda boring in my opinion. Not bad, just kinda bleh.
I don't think so, no. It's actually a pretty good one.
