An amusing, light hearted comedy that doesn't ask you to "turn off your brain" or whatever idiots who defend shitty comedies say. George Clooney and John Krasinski are both great.

Nostalgia is fun and all, but are grown women really going to pay good money to see middle aged versions of their preteen idols?

Hip house is just a blip on the radar for sure, and I will never listen to more of it than I do funk. I just think it would be amusing to start rehabbing subgenres that have no critical cred at all. And if anyone can do it, the AVClub can.

really, funk has a lot of cred. I would like to see a blog post standing up for a really underappreciated musical genre, like hip-house or 90's r & b. I would like to argue Technotronic vs. Deee-Lite or drop my theories on TLC's first 2 albums.
