I really do like Collinsworth in the booth. I know he sounds drunk, and his voice isn't exactly soothing music to the ears, but he is goddamned entertaining!

I agree to all of this for sure. I liked St. Vincent, but it wasn't magnificent. I think he needs a director/foil to challenge him again? Maybe Sofia Coppola or something—I would love to see what a Scorsese/Tarantino/PT Anderson could do with that persona so that it doesn't keep getting more and more stale.
