The first time I saw "2001: A Space Odyssey." I realized there was a different cinema language out there, one that used visuals, meditation, big themes and sound to really engross a watcher—a language that didn't concern itself with plot points and dialogue, a language that went right for the senses to pull out

Ha, yes. The film that pretty much starred Moore's stunt double. Painfully bad. But a kick-ass villain and theme song!

Helen Mirren and Judi Dench. With lots of wine flowing. Cate Blanchett and Kate Winslet. With lots of wine flowing. Eventually, we'd all get confused over which Kate/Cate was which. Throw in Kate Beckinsale once in a while for fun. Or maybe Daniel Day-Lewis and Christian Bale, switching characters throughout the show.

I'd like to see Meloni and John C. McGinley. Would be fun to see who could "out-intensely-weird-out" each other.

A rhythmic ceremonial ritual!

This is true, indeed. I'm pretty fit, so what the hell. I'll eat a McGriddle whenever I damn well feel like it. A toast to you, sir.

Indeed, sir. It is a great shame when I chomp on a McGriddle and the great hash brown sponge. But I love it and will not apologize. I will eat both at 6 pm soon, damnit.

I don't remember celebs being that young when I was a kid, either. All I remember is androgynous English pop stars on MTV. Lots of lipstick and great hairdos and synth pop and all of that. For movies, it was Harrison Ford and other adult-looking celebs. Don't remember a Zac Efron type in the bunch unless you count the

Chris Knight was one of the best characters of the 80s and of Kilmer's career. His steady patter of one-liners is on par with "Airplane," I think. Would love to see where Mitch ended up!

Hey, that sounds OK to me. I'd rather see a sequel than a reboot anytime. I think I know that damn movie by heart…one of my absolute favorites.

I do, too! When they are done with the conversation and they drive on down the bridge to that little vamp…nice little moment of introspection in the movie.

Ha…their scene in the car is one of the best! No, really, it is! "I remember Revelation 7:12…" I'm really trying, here.

Ugh…is that a thing that might happen? I need to lie down. I take my pop culture way too seriously.

Be careful not to blow dust off the cover of the book!

How about Mark and David on Roseanne? Well, maybe Mark since it gave Becky something to do to rebel? Oh, who am I kidding. They were the beginning of the long slow march to the grave for that show.

I agree. And I thought Brewster was fucking amazing. I'm sad there is no seventh season only because I wanted to see more of her!

Agreed. As someone else already mentioned, Corbett's arrival was great. Funny because I love both Crows and both hosts equally…is that allowed? They all managed to stake their own claim without being drastically different. Pearl…definitely not so much.

Butters for sure!

Smits for NYPD Blue, too, although I guess coming in at a second season isn't exactly mid-stream. Hell, we could do an entire story on all the cast changes for NYPD, I suppose…Kim Delaney was a great shot in the arm, various female detectives, the great blonde receptionist guy, new people in charge. I don't think

Indeed…very nice call. I would love to see a documentary/read a book on that film's failure and some of the bizarro techniques Coppola was using to film it.
