Indeed…I loved the quick cuts when he would go off on an angry or lurid tangent. "She was insatiable…there was one time when she—TONIGHT'S EPISODE…" I would watch an entire series of him as Jonrosh just fucking around.

Ha, I never thought of that, but it's a good theory! "I DESERVE A REWARD…"

For movies, I really like the various directors' cuts that are out there. It's nice to get that vision. I remember liking a "Blade Runner" DVD that had maybe the voiceover version and the director's cut as well as that really long documentary on the film's history. That's the kind of stuff that makes DVDs so special.

Me too. I still buy CDs when something new comes out like the recent Faith No More album. I just like having the physical thing with me and playing it in the car. Of course, I'm sure CD players in cars are also going away soon.

This kind of sucks. I don't want to hear any more about these goddamned movies. I was hoping "fresh look" meant that somebody was going to do some kind of reboot, reimagining, hell, something, instead of trying to justify all the time and energy that goes into constantly being aware of how much they are hated.

You guys have truly shown grace under pressure in these comments.

Sorry! Um, um…the show entirely consists of material from the first album, that's it!

Ouch. But I'd still go, too.

You guys are giving me a lot of mixed signals.

Hey, hey, hey…hold your fire a minute. There might be other buyers!

Eh, maybe Terry Brown?

*kickass quack chorus lick*

Hey, that sounds awesome! I am going to miss them on their last runthrough, it seems. What deep catalog stuff did they do? What was the best?

I love Bloom County, too. Pretty zany, pointed stuff. I always loved Opus. Such a naive, smart, vulnerable little dude.

And it often makes us feel that "lonely" is normal, so we don't notice it as much when we become adults—it becomes just another part of life. Sometimes, though, the veil lifts, and the loneliness hits you right in the mouth. "But this is how I've always been!" "Yeah, sucks, don't it?"

Indeed. This quote just about sums up so much of our experience on this planet. Calvin had it figured out.

Preach it. The End is insanely good. Guitar solos that perfectly match up with the owners' personalities. And the final line? It's not maudlin. It's hopeful.

You are right on. I would like to think, though, that there is plenty more to say about The Beatles, and I'm not talking about just lifting them up into the light and refusing to be critical. But seeing them through a new lens, this snarky age of Internet lists. We are so quick to dismiss a lot of what they did

Hey, thanks! Even when the track is boring, which at times it is, there is a lot going on that speaks to Lennon's mindset and the dissolution of the 60s. We can still listen to things we don't necessarily enjoy all the time—in fact, we are often better people for it.

I have! I do like the horn bit quite a lot.
