Not anymore. I tried to cancel Showtime last week and replace it with another pay network. The Time Warner lady on the other end of the phone gave me Showtime for free for the next year. Seems they are desperate to keep viewers!

True story. I watched this show from the beginning - but my husband at the time, and friends, did not.

I care too - because The Mutt is right. Homicide was one of the few 'cop shows' back then who featured characters that you didn't really LIKE, but you couldn't stop watching. The acting was AMAZING. I still watch anything Andre Braugher appears in because I have this weird trust in him as an actor.

Henriksen can go from scary to kind with a blink of an eye. I wish he didn't do so much utter crap. He needs to get on an HBO series, or become Dexter's ultimate foil on Showtime.

Actresses like Taylor and Garafalo have too much character in their faces to be traditionally "pretty". The camera does not do them justice though - I've seen both in person, and they are WAY more attractive than average. Especially Garafalo.
