Time to reset the "Days without a Mayor assassinated" counter at the entrance of Starling City.

The thrill, the adrenaline… the plot.

Imagine the confusion when they both try to get into their sister's pants.

Ah, but that is precisely the problem. The Weather Wizard that we saw last week was probably the most powerful metahuman yet, the first one who seemed to present a real challenge for Barry (except Wells of course).

He replaced himself, we ignore the other Barry. I don't think this TV show and the Arrowverse in general will deal with alternate timelines or multiverse.

Bring back Moira, tell Thea to stay away from her psycho dad, and restart from the end of season 2!

I just feel there were two potential A- episodes here:
- one was the second part of the time travel arc started last week, when Barry defeats the Weather Wizard in an epic battle but learns the consequences of messing up with Fate.
- one was a cartoonish and hilarious episode with the Rogues, ending with the Barry/Cold

But Barry doesn't know that Cisco was killed; knowing that would give him more incentive to time travel. And he doesn't know either if Cold would have done all of those things (except if the city was in fact completely flooded, then probably not…).

Actually the show has already told us, but I forgot the details: whatever happened to Wells will happen to Barry.

"Obviously the season is building up to Barry going back to save his mother"

Not that hard, a few possibilities:
- Going back so far nerfed Barry's powers and he can't do it anymore.
- He can still time travel, but doing it even once would kill him.
- Something truly awful happens after his trip back, much worse than Cold and co killing a few people. Something so bad that Barry swears he won't

But pretty quickly all the time travel would get old, and kill any plot. Obviously the season is building up to Barry going back to save his mother (or let her die, or… kill her!), but after that something should happen to prevent any more reset shenanigans.

Wait how did Well provide "a way to get rid of Time Travel as a means of solving our issues"? And how does Barry even know that Cold wouldn't have shown up anyway in the previous timeline?

This episode was as close to a cartoon as possible for a TV drama. Not sure if it is a good or bad thing.

JULIA: If the new Narvik is released… There won't be a CDC anymore!
SARAH: So you're saying, there is a good chance humanity would survive?

Even Peter agrees: he was way more interesting as a mute Black Goo Zombie King.

It's sad the AV Club doesn't review this masterpiece anymore, but at least Sonia Saraiya didn't see the male half of Team Banana falling to his apparent* death.

DIGGLE: What's that? Are you knitting socks for Merlyn now?!
OLIVER: You don't understand… It is Father's Day soon, it would destroy Thea's soul if she didn't have a beautiful gift for her dad. She has been so depressed since Merlyn killed her real dad.
DIGGLE: Can I move to The Flash?

And about 20 spin-offs. If at least they could leave Arrow alone for a while and not use season 4 to launch yet another series (see: Ray Palmer's "arc" this year), maybe they could come up with a decent plot.

As far as I can tell from this season, cops are the only "civilians" left to protect in Starling City. Everyone else has become a ninja vigilante.
