What about a Wells/Cisco/Wells triangle?
What about a Wells/Cisco/Wells triangle?
I completely understand that most of The Flash has to be: just people talking. The team does an amazing job with the special effects (especially in this episode), but even a few seconds of Flash goodness must be really expensive on a TV budget.
We changed the past!
She realized he kind of looked like the hot cop going out with Iris.
That's great, but I am talking about The Flash as an actual TV show.
BARRY: Caitlin, how do I solve all problems again?
CAITLIN: Run Barry, run! Real fast!
BARRY: Thanks, I always forget.
We would if he didn't become so overpowered so quickly, as I just said.
This episode made it obvious that the problem with Iris is the writing: she is stuck in the awful love triangles. And for absolutely no reason Joe decides to lie to her again, this time about the metapsycho with a vendetta against him. So Iris can look even more clueless than usual.
Maybe not, but aren't you excited about the Iris/Barry/Linda triangle?!
Oh my god!
Well that's always the question, isn't it? Especially at the speed at which he is now going. They could have kept him barely supersonic for one season at least, but if he can already time travel… He should be able to defeat everybody (even metahumans now) in a Flash.
I just hope Joe was affected by some kind of pre-time jump sciency backlash, because he was amazingly dumb in this episode:
- doesn't tell Iris a killer is going after him, tells everyone to lie to her (as usual).
- realizes later that yes, the killer could go after Iris too.
- sends the Flash to protect Iris, and goes…
Amazing episode, so good in fact that the reset at the end didn't even feel cheap.
The Flash has reached another level.
I have to ask, are you his brother or something?…
Noted. There are still a number of relatively new (to TV at least) writers, who were not around for the season 1 insanity.
And since it was International Women's Day recently, we should note that many of the new writers for Helix season 2 are indeed female. I am not sure why there are so many new writers actually. Half of the episodes seem to have been written by people who not only didn't work for Helix before, but didn't do anything…
What the hell was Texas's plan? He has spent too much time with Alan!
We still need an explanation for Hatake
Did Michael know she was a fellow Silver-Eyes?
On the bright side, even if Texas dies it is very unlikely that Helix gets a third season anyway. Ratings are awful (even worse than 12 Monkeys). So enjoy this masterpiece while you can.
Sadly I don't think Sanada is coming back. He was probably forced to come back because of his contract and/or blackmail, but he made sure to appear as little as possible.
