That's my Saturday and Sunday nights booked up!

VHS or Betamax?

Joey Travolta.

How do these people still have licenses?

Nice reporting Jamie Garnett Caroline; you've got a dynamite shape but I really need to hear a man's opinion on this. Is your father or a policeman nearby?

I live in St Kilda and I hate people knocking at my door!
Don't get me started on my childhood friend…

And did Tina steal it in the end?

Cindy Williams, on the other hand…

"We all slid out of the same place, sister!"

Other way around for me: stage show first, then the movie on the day it was released. I still remember sitting there, shocked and disappointed, by how they changed the ending. Now I'm more amused by the thought there was once a time you could see a movie without hearing about all the changes beforehand.

"…a trip to the country that ends with [Sally], Brian, and Max watching rural folk swell with nationalist pride via a sing-along to “Tomorrow Belongs To Me.”

Listen to the sound of the city, listen to the sound of the town
New York is the city of cities, New York is still wearing the crown
Listen to the sound of the city, listen to the people I love
Everyone is speaking your language, New York speaks in your native tongue

Like Enlightened, the show landed the finale so perfectly I can live with this being the end (no matter how much I want more).

"The only hit that comes out of a Helen Lawson Angelina Jolie show is Helen Lawson Angelina Jolie, and that's ME, baby, remember?"

She had to end it there; as Ms Jolie's father and husband can both attest, pretty boys stay neither boys nor pretty forever.

Vicious (PBS, 9:30 p.m.): Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi return as a snippy couple living out their golden years in this excellent execrable multi-camera sitcom.

Brad Goreski does us both.

I spent the entire half hour wondering why I wanted to slap the lead actress since the character wasn't that annoying; then the credits popped up and I realised poor Lola was paying for the sins of her sister. Damn you, Jessa from Girls.

Gay gasp! Bernadette Peters hasn't aged a day!

Fantastic episode. The only other thing I could've asked for was a scene in which Valerie explains why supporting actresses are the real heroes.
