I hated the cold open because it is so overdone. I can't even count how many times I've seen a variation on that theme. However, the erst of the episode made up for it. Extra credit for Alvin on the toolbox.

Mema? No. Meemaw. I don't know why, but I find "Mema" incredibly jarring and funny all at once.

Paul didn't hit Danny; Tom admitted to making that up during the police interview.

I didn't realize that "we'll have to muddle through somehow" had been removed. I usually listen to Chris Isaak's version, which includes it.

Yeah, most HE crossover wouldn't actually work, but Derrick did and I think Gil would be believable as the guy who stole the truck. With any other character, it would be weird that he didn't notice that Penny was Annie's twin, but I'd believe it with Gil.

I really try not to be that person, but for the love of God, please proofread articles before posting them.

So you're saying he was a lie guy?

I love him in this show, but let's not discount all of his work in The Office.

I'm an East Coaster and I fucking hate Seinfeld and love the Fresh Prince.

Hell, I'm about to tear up just reading comments about that damn episode. It kills me.

As I've said before, this show has all the pieces to be great. The cast is fantastic and I think most of the characters have the potential to be good with some tweaking. Tim Meadows was terrific this week; I loved getting to see the differentiation between the Kevins and seeing Meadows and Marino work together.

Yeah, I have a friend who had a kid at 35 and the doctors classified her as an "older mother." There are definitely issues as you head into your late 30s.

God, I am going to miss Peter. If I couldn't have Max Blum, I'd settle for Peter Prentice. Now I can't have either. Curse you, Pally!

Man, Mark Goffmann was really defensive about Katrina. Seriously, just admit she sucks and you've written her terribly. Then either fix it or kill her off.

I could not agree more. I love Irving and Jenny together and want to see more.

"Especially that big speech he gave at the end about a "father willing to sacrifice their son should die". I mean… I get it, he's actually talking about Moloch, but I don't think it's half as clever as the writers thought it would be."

"I want one of those!" Ichabod definitely needs a motorcycle. I really hope Tom Mison can drive one; I'd watch an entire episode that was just him on a bike.

"I, Janitor, take thee, Blond Doctor…"

"You have 10 minutes." God, I love Holt, and I love that he is willing to indulge some of this craziness.

You could save up $1,000, but unless you had carpentry skills, you couldn't replicate what had been done. That always bugged me. Still, they did give some good low-budget tips that were useful.
