I tend to agree regarding Animal House.  But only because I didn't watch it the first time until about 15 years after it came out.  Generally speaking, comedies don't age well.

Or maybe… one of those three stage video-game bosses.  Phase one is OBL, phase 2 is is his head and torso, with a hover-tank for a body, phase three is just his brain (but 10' in diameter) with tentacles shooting out all over the place.
