Yes, this.  The retelling sold Davos up the river as a doofus, and shortchanged Tyrion's more extensive role in saving the city (ie - the chain)

I enjoyed the episode, but have to disagree on both points.  The main set was just altogether too small, and surrounded by darkness on all sides.  But not in a way that implied night, rather "the set stops here".

I don't remember her being so soused in the book.   She was starting to get pretty loopy with Sansa.  I was expecting her speech to go right off the rails.
