As always, this is pretty much my week. Its interesting just how much of a difference the directors make in Malcolm in the Middle. In my re-watch its interesting that the show's downward slide in the later seasons seems to correspond with Todd Holland and Ken Kwapis no longer directing episodes. Without them directing

In my defence, I was 6 at the time and I liked all of the Batman films.

I remember playing the first 3 Pokemon gameboy games a lot, but even young me could tell the animated series sucked. I mean, I'm not going to say I didn't get swept up in the fad because I did enjoy the first few episodes, but soon if became very clear just how formulaic the show was and then I got bored and stopped

Why did you have to mention the theme song? Now its stuck in my head too.

Don't worry, 6 year old me liked them too.

Its kind of weird to think about how many bad films I watched as a kid, but I think special mention has to be given to kid me's love of all 4 of the 90s Batman films. Obviously now it is clear to me that only the first two are actually any good (not just because I recently had an MST3K style viewing of Batman & Robin)

I remember enjoying the first one as a kid, but at some point there was a baseball themed 3 Ninjas film that even kid me (who liked Batman & Robin) could tell was very crappy.

As always this was pretty much my week, except I also watched The Jazz Singer for a class @avclub-b0cb521aba34990a0004c654f205b22b:disqus isn't taking this semester. It was kind of interesting in historical terms, but overall I felt the story was pedestrian and the compositions were very static and not excessively

NZ and Australia seem to have almost identical coverage, except with the 2 hour time difference the evening events are at a more reasonable hour in the morning here (personally I'm planning to get up to see NZ's first decent shot at a medal in the Women's 400m freestyle).

Pretty much, NZ's only cable/satellite provider (Sky) bought the rights and has setup nine extra sports channels dedicated to the Olympics with eight carrying sports and one with up to date news and (I think) highlights. They are also playing the longer events like hockey and football on the regular sports channels if

The coverage in America sounds pretty bad (at least in that prime-time slot), but I'm finding the NZ coverage pretty good so far. Then again, I tend to try and watch all of the events live if I can as I hate watching delayed sports (even if I don't know the result) so there could be some terrible coverage in NZ that
