I can't see a voting box, but there does appear to be a large empty part of the screen at the end of the article where I assume one would be. Can I not see this area because I'm not American or currently residing in America? Or is it for some other reason (for example my crappy student internet)?

I never really liked Hanna that much, the acting and cinematography were generally good and I enjoyed the long steadicam fight sequence but ultimately I couldn't get behind the messy narrative and jarring tonal shifts in the film. Also I remember being really confused by the editing in the scene where she escapes from

As a Chiefs fan, I'm confident that they will be able to get it together by the time they play their home semi-final. They only just lost both of their last two games against The Crusaders and The Hurricanes (although admittedly that Hurricanes game was full of bad refereeing, some of which benefited The Chiefs) so

I was just watching it a couple of weeks ago, it is S1E11 - "Funeral," which also has a great running gag throughout the episode about how Hal feels he has to speak at every funeral despite the fact everyone thinks his speeches are terrible.

I think a Malcolm in the Middle episode would be a good choice as the show generally fits within the theme of adolescence and I don't think it has been covered on The AVClub before. I would suggest that the roundtable cover "Bowling" from the second season, mainly because its my favorite episode of the show.

I watched both Black Caps games even though they were on very late at night (or early in the morning depending on when you get up). The first game was a disgrace (what kind of team can't score at 4 an over in an ODI) but I thought that the Black Caps actually gave a semi-decent performance in the second one. The

As with whenever I remember to post, This is pretty much my week except that I decided to read some comics. This week I caught up with all of American Vampire including the Survival of the Fittest mini-series. It was a bit weird reading through that mini-series because I had inadvertently read the first issue of Lord

Speaking of Italian, I get irrationally annoyed with fake Italian accents. When Italians attempt to speak English it sounds nothing like Mario.

It can be so frustrating to see food change position between shots, especially in multi-camera sitcoms because it makes it very obvious that they don't shoot them in one take. You can see it all the time in Seinfeld when they have a long scene at the diner and the actors eat or appear to be eating.

Good point.
I still don't like the narration though, I feel it just seems kind of pointless and is only in there to emphasize the themes of the film.

My biggest problem with narration is when a film or TV show just uses it at the start and end of the film, usually just to highlight thematic or narrative points which the filmmaker was unable to make without the narration. For example I watched A Simple Plan a couple of weeks ago and the way the film just had
