I don't think George has any stake in it. He could badmouth it forever at no cost to himself.

You've articulated exactly my thoughts every time I see that scene.

Yeah. He's so refreshing because they've replaced Epic Ancient Evil with a naturalistic, funny, human (yet otherworldly) menace. The Ra's/Savage archetype is fun, but not that threatening, because you and I just don't encounter that person in life. Darhk is a guy we could meet in a boardroom or elect to Congress who

Right. But then, he's the only "older" Cylon (except for Ellen, but we don't see any of her backstory). We could see flashbacks for the Chief or Sam or Tori or whatever, but they wouldn't look much different because they're still relatively young.

I'm a little fuzzy on the mythology of the Final Five, I admit, but I thought the point is that they built themselves very human-like bodies, that aged naturally, even though they could resurrect. They were like a middle ground between BSG humans and the Significant Seven.

Why is it an issue that Tigh has hair?

Doc Cottle is my favourite character above all. I giggle every time he's onscreen. I love how he suggests the pregnant Saggitaron girl take sanctuary on Galactica, and his "well I'll just shut up" face when Adama gives him the stinkeye for it.

Yeah, that's the Chief.

That's probably a thing, yeah. Tinder is inherently more flaky, but that's not such a bad thing for me, because (at the moment anyway) I'd prefer to keep things casual until I find someone I really want to be with.

I don't think Ra's was ever That Bad. He was just boring. And unthreatening. Savage looks like him, and speaks similarly in Grand Villain language, and has an altogether similar presence (though more physical, and, yes, "savage"). Savage is only vaguely threatening because he took an arrow to the chest and walked it

I hate Hackman's Luthor. Loved Spacey.

I'm so-so on this Savage. Seems like a rehash of Ra's. Better performed, but then I kind of liked Ra's first few appearances, too.

The scenes in the farmhouse at the beginning also had a bunch of long takes. It's a small thing, but one of the longer ones, with all the characters popping in and out of the room, was halfway through by the time I realised they were doing a oner — before I realised, I was just thinking how it feels so natural,

THANK YOU.

He's a wonderful person. And a terrific bird.

One would hope that anyone who does [X sex act] frequently doesn't dislike [X sex act].

I love hearing about my girlfriends' and casual partners' sexual histories. I don't mean fetishistically — I just find it really interesting and I get to feel a little smugly pleased with myself if I've been with more people than she has (I'm not proud of this) and I have never, even for a moment, been made even

The best thing about OKC is OKTrends, their blog on statistics in online dating. It's both incredibly fascinating and very funny. One of their blog posts is about how, yeah sorry, the data's clear: it's aaaaaaaalllllllllllllllll about photos. Haha.

True. I don't want to take OKC away from the people who like it or anything.
