read in kent brockman's (soon to be noticeably different) voice.

so you DISAGREE.

some random with a private comment history decided to heap his scorn on me like i was one of selina's goon squad and he was tom james (only a version who hadn't progressed past the third grade).

jesus christ you're unpleasant. spend all your time at the AVC, you can forget that this element exists on the internet. crawl back to whatever humiliatrix hotline hasn't fired you for being too off-putting yet.

…the fuck? are you deranged, or trying pathetically to speak like a character from the show?

i like hayley atwell more than most people.

well… if you were curious, maybe read the review? some phrases that might clue you in:

agreed on all counts. he played "anonymous farm boy" really well, and believably wore the suit when it counted. if i had any optimism for BvS, it would be because of him, but not even his family's coat of arms is giving me any hope. (heyoo!)

i did manage a second viewing, when my housemate got it for me as a very well-intentioned christmas present. considering the appalling script, i think he did a fantastic job playing the duel roles of the ease and confidence of godhood and the burden of tremendous power.

i've always said that i liked cavill in the otherwise odious Man of Steel, but i didn't realise JUST HOW MUCH of a great job he did embodying the title character until his face popped up on the big screen in a trailer for The Man From UNCLE and every molecule in my body prickled up and shouted "that's fucking

it was a bit sexist, but it tried really hard to be like "HOW GREAT IT IS THAT WE HAVE A FEMALE SUPERHERO NOW?" you could turn the phrase "female superhero" into an entry in your drinking game and be dead by the third act.

"hysteria" is pretty strong, no? there was a lot of backlash and commentary ON the "hysteria", but very little actual histrionics from noah's critics. more… disappointment and confusion.

boy, you sound fun.

i had to pause. i NEVER laugh so hard i need to pause. his writing and performance is incredible. even his name is funny. i had a big laugh last week when his surname was revealed.

he's a real guy, just played by someone else. it's confusing because ryan ridley, another writer/contributor was "that guy from jeff's gym" in the tag from a few episodes ago.

i sort of feel like you think i hold a position i don't?

i don't think he is, but certain things he says can be read that way if you're so inclined, his "why do we insist on celebrating mediocrity" speech fits in so well with all of brad bird's other work that it seems pretty obviously a direct insertion of his point of view.

he's in, i think, five or six, and literally all of them are winners. they were my introduction to harmontown: i listened to those episodes, then just started from the last one and continued listening in order. i just looked it up quick and hurwitz's first episode is #82. i think that one has a lot of good material

he can only get married in certain states, for the moment. where's central city?

the way he's playing the game, he'll beat everyone else on the map. i'm pretty convinced he's going to get a huge shot at power, and his undoing will be the fact that he trained sansa too well, and she'll see through his manipulations to his grave misfortune.
