as much as i am thrilled about getting both veep and GOT back, why all three on the same day? is there a reason to that madness?
god damn, really? we don't want him.
elaine strich!!
i love all the bryan singer comic book movies. yes, even that one. he is the director who has most consistently understood and portrayed the core of what these characters are. joss whedon is up there but he's only had one movie so far so i can't say it's "consistent" yet.
he really is "arrested development level" good.
holy shit.
bataar junior said it: it would have made the gun explode. straight up, this was a suicide mission for zhu li — she wasn't expecting to get out of there at all. what a fucking badass.
don't be condescending because i don't love what you love. i'm not calling you an idiot for liking something i don't.
i don't want to blow your mind, but there are ways to make more of a female presence in a story without subsuming her in a ridiculous and empty love triangle. arwen rescuing frodo is a perfect example. i only wish she had more of that in the movies, but one can't have everything.
i don't complain that they're too long (and i looooove the LOTR trilogy) but i do complain that they're stuffed with crap. pick either of the hobbit movies, and i'm sure the impending third one, and it would benefit from having a good forty minutes sliced out. there's just so much junk in them. fellowship was long,…
deadshot is in JLU a couple times.
i would suggest its aims are different. (i bit my tongue to avoid saying "lower", as the pixar snob i am.)
team rosa forever. not even sexually. i just adore her.
i thought it was pretty clear he just refused to believe that anyone in the USPS/IS would be involved in criminal activity.
i would agree, but flashback holt has never clapped his hands and shouted "HOT DAMN."
it's so gratifying to know that there are other people who love jeeves and wooster to be found at the AV club.
alan silvestri did captain america and the avengers, and he's a pretty major composer. but i agree in other respects.
??? venom. loki. thanos. ultron. dock ock. doctor doom. and possibly my favourite villain of all time, magneto.
get the first season out and see if you want to keep watching. you're just teetering on the edge of it being good!
