I'm not a Beyonce fan, but 'All the Single Ladies' is just a catchy pop song you can either hate or love. How is it a "horrible message"?

Grades are stupid and extremely subjective in general. I don't think they should be given much importance. (But then, the community grade is almost always the same as the reviewer's grade for OUAT, so a lot of people feel the same way.)
Of all the crap that CBS churns out, you have a visceral loathing of Elementary in particular? What did it do to earn such hatred? I'm genuinely asking. I like it a lot, and I think it's doing some fantastic stuff with the Holmes/Watson relationship and their respective characterizations, though the cases aren't…
Huh? Parenthood does it all the time. So did Friday Night Lights and Fringe. And I'm fairly sure that there are a whole bunch of shows I haven't mentioned that did/do the same.
I have to agree with you. Jennifer Lawrence is kind of dim, sure, but she was phenomenal in SLP. I'm really over people claiming that she doesn't deserve her nomination. I love Jessica Chastain, but..yeah. That was basically all she had to do throughout Zero Dark Thirty.
@avclub-9b3d616efffb52751fd968db82ece52a:disqus I feel the same way about Parks!

@avclub-c2f4107b6e40254227fa91ccae0a16aa:disqus The romance in Parks and Rec is perfectly fine.
Yeah, mine is Horror Fiction, too! Such a great episode.
I miss Fringe SO much, but I'm kind of glad it went out on such a high.
"this is one of the best shows on tv right now"
Um. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here.
OUAT is a mediocre show. There's no way around it. It's often overstuffed, it keeps introducing new characters and plots without sufficiently developing the characters/plots at hand, and every episode, more often than not, is an…
I'm hoping that the fact that Michael Schur's taking on a new show next season means that Parks will last only for one more season, at the most. I still love it, but six seasons are more than enough. I don't want to see it go down the path of The Office.
I agree.
..I kind of agree with you, actually. I might like Annie a little bit more now.
I like your username.
There are a lot of people worried about Britta's character regression, which I think is bs, because she's just become less pretentious and learned to accept and embrace her own ridiculousness, and I don't think that's a bad thing. Annie, however, has been more or less at a standstill since mid season 2, character…
Nope, it's just tried to whitewash all the crap Damon's done in the past. I might be biased as someone who really hates Damon and the way he's treated like a misunderstood puppy by majority of the fandom, though.
I hate the sire bond so much. I really wish Elena has been given the chance to be a strong, kickass vampire with agency, as well. There's nothing wrong with being in love, of course (though when it's with Damon, I wouldn't be so sure), but this entire season and the sire bond nonsense has just impacted her character…
The show itself isn't clear about what it wants this sire bond to be.
New Girl is awesome.
