I really, really hope 'like' at least equals an A-.

Season four was a lot more consistent, though. The first half of season 3 was brilliant, and then it lost a bit of momentum, and then they picked it back up again by the end of the season. Season four was at pretty much the same quality throughout. Of course, it's a largely divisive season, but I personally can't

Even greater is how well Fringe holds up on rewatch. I rewatched season 4 recently, and I enjoyed it a great deal more than when I was watching it on a week-to-week basis, and I'm not even one of those people who thought that season 4 was a step down or anything.

I agree with you on the Parks and Rec thing too. The fact that I almost always enjoy episodes of both Parks and Fringe that don't work, only for the really resonant character moments, is a testament to how good the character work is on both shows.

In other news, that Parks and Rec episode: was it great or was it great? I don't know what the AV club consensus will be, but I loved it. It had almost every single thing I adore about Parks and Rec. Pawnee public forum? Check. Leslie having to make a difficult decision? Check. Lots of Leslie and Ann/Leslie and Ron?

Totally. I don't know what I'm going to do when it ends. I don't think I've ever cared so much for a bunch of fictional characters before, and I probably never will.

FRINGE FRIDAY! I will be so mad if the last season doesn't live up to my unbelievably high expectations.

I loved it, too! Martha Plimpton was great, and more of Peter is never a bad thing.
