The one aspect of the show that rang incredibly false is the depiction of the Pick Six guys.  First of all the fat security guard/loanshark said that he didn't bet Jason Gedrick's ticket because it cost $800 or so but looking at the napkin with the picks on it  I would say that their ticket would have cost at least

I disagree. Have at her.

Wow, Big Lake was bad.

After reading the description of the Crocker documentary I thought it might be interesting but then after watching his You Tube video announcing that the doc got picked up by HBO I think I would rather sit in an MRI machine for two hours than see this film.

This video is a great illustration of the auteur theory.  Written and directed by Richard Linklater, Wooderson is a great character.  Without Linklater's involvement, Wooderson is just a creepy looking guy in a video for a shit "Come on Eileen" ripoff.

I love Lucille Ball and her show was on 60 years ago and we have to resort to that to show Jerry Lewis that we think he was wrong.

The most movies I've ever seen in a day is 7 when I was sick on Thanksgiving a few years ago and watched the first 7 Andy Hardy pics.  I watched the rest of them over the course of the next few days.

I thought the same thing when I saw him in The Mod Squad.

The baby-boomers aren't going quietly.

I discovered the existence of this book last week.  I hope he gives us the full story of his Toblerone addiction.

Many good choices here although The Art of Fielding was PC dreck.

Well since they are using a picture of Otis Redding to illustrate their article on music that they discovered in 2011 I think the AV Club has a different idea of what 'discovered' means as well.

>>>>We made it for nothing, we shot it on Canon 5D’s, it was done for half a million dollars, it was shot in two weeks, no one made any money, we brought our own wardrobe, there were no trailers, we did it for love of the game, we’re all huddled together on the floor eating off paper plates and running into the set,

You forgot The Patsy which Lewis directed and I would put in the very good category behind only The Ladies Man and Nutty Professor.

I'm surprised it took three comments before a tiresome The Day the Clown Cried reference.

I'm with you all the way. God speed not ted danson.

I'm not enjoying the Christina Ricci flatchested era.
