The first movie was pure dreck.

I think he is talking about that dick Ken Paris who was the technical animation international supervisor on the film.

She did nothing to elevate the shitfest that was SNL then. She was horrible on a terrible show.

Went to the well once too often.

It was a typically gutless move.

The old "let's see you do better" retort.

Bushmill's is for Orangemen, Jameson's for Irishmen.

>>>Silent movies were heavy-footed. There was a simplistic grammar that came to a language.

The Hays Code officially started in 1930 and didn't really start to become enforced until midway through 1934 but mattyj is right that Hays had come up with some recommendations along with people in the Cathlic church earlier in the 1920s.

Overlooked TCM?? WTF????

Oh and Cliff would be a nerd, Carla would be hot, Norm would be a pothead and they would have added a black character.

If "Cheers" was set in 2011 nobody in the cast would be over the age of 32.

How do you make a Jason Statham movie suck? By casting Jason Statham for starters.

Popov. The one vodka to have when you're having more than ten.

Schlock.

Huh?  If you knew "Play Misty for Me" then you would know that she was in it and if you didn't know the movie why would her being in it cause you to run out and watch it?  Or have you always wanted to watch the movie but needed to know that there was a familiar sitcom actress in it before you did?

Yeah maybe this was an above average SNL episode but its all so damned mediocre.

WHM is pretty weak.  They don't seem to know much.

Seth Myers rocks????????????????????????????????????????????????

Maybe in honor of Albert Brooks' connection with The Simpsons he was parodying Brooks' novel 2030 with his talk of death to the olds.  Just not in a humorous or insightful way.
