The part where he "broke" was probably the hardest I ever laughed at that show. Although that's not really saying much.

Welcome… to Mindhead.
@avclub-525f76574b3a2a5bcb4da793c92a16fb:disqus Steel Reserve would like a word.
@avclub-e53fc2424af041d07a7eef5cd8773505:disqus I'd double check your Asia Carrera facts. She actually says her time in the industry was a nightmare and she has nothing but regrets. Also, genius iq etc.
Youtube.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Both played on the same concept and Stewart came across as a hack while Colbert had me in stitches.
Never gets old.
It smells like a diaper full of… Indian food.
I liked A Certain Trigger. Definitely had its charms.
@avclub-f5a708494dac82a9bf78263ef72307b2:disqus Yeah but from what I can tell, the UK has done a pretty decent job of keeping rock music somewhat relevant in one form or another. Here, it was more or less a momentary blip on the radar, along with the White Stripes and the lesser garage revival acts, that was quickly…
Consulting with Metacritic, I see most critics fell in between Pretty Good to Not Terrible territory. To me, it was underwhelming. A long dormant band going through the motions to keep the brand alive. But I wouldn't hate on anyone for getting enjoyment out it.

I even put in the caveat of successful follow-ups in certain cases. Just that there were diminishing returns in all those cases,…
I can respect that. I remember at the time, the hype surrounding Is This It almost made it impossible for me to enjoy it because there was no way it could live up to it. But I'm also the kind of guy that will stick with something I don't get when everyone else is raving because mine are not usually the most…
I think my original point would make for a third Inventory: Bands that only had that one great album in them (and everyone realizes it but them).
Wasn't Out of Control on there? I like that one.
I'm here to defend anyone who feels like everything the Strokes have released past Room On Fire, barring a few songs from FIOE, has been at best pale imitations of former glories and at worst fuel to all those detractors that always thought the band were one trick ponies. Obviously I feel that way too.
It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.
I walked from Steuart St to Spear St. Took me less than 5 minutes.
You really shouldn't have let on how much this annoys you.
