All I remember is something that sounds like "Where's the baby, Billy?". Definitely would tie into that whole abortion thing.

The fact that he complained that there weren't any jump scares was pretty telling. I mean if that's what you're looking for in a movie then perhaps your opinion comes with a small side of salt.

Watch it anyway. The scary story is only part of what makes it good.

Nick Schager's condemnation of Babadook was a revelation too. I guess I have someone new to dislike around here.

Finally saw Babadook and it was incredible. Its got your standard frights particularly well executed, but the story it tells, and what that story stands for are just huge. I actually teared up at the end in a scene where superficially it makes no sense because what was represented by what was on the screen was

I had expected the bear to show up in the commercial when it was still commercially. Or for the commercial to end and it to go back to the bear to find it stalking the children on the playground. As is it just kind of spins into left field and hovers there.

We went to the store and bought something great which samples this song from Washington State.
Doolittle's my favorite because its good all the way through but damn if Trompe le Monde doesn't have some high points. I have also known a lot of people named Jefrey.

Then he rips off his Michael Caine mask to reveal an elegant chair.

It is but it requires me to remember my fios password which I don't. However the first few episodes can be found on youtube.

At least Snowpiercer you could pay to stream. The options for Babadook appear to be fly across the country to whatever art house has it this week, illegally download it, or sit on your hands and wait.

When is Babadook getting a decent release? It seems to be universally adored. How is that not translating into more screens?

Normally I'm not that level of completist, and I probably will not get everything to Legendary or whatever the top is, but I have to get them all to Master to hear all the songs.

Access to different areas of the map are gated by main story progress, no real timed events that I've seen. Though there is a day/night cycle so if you have to do something at night you have to wait for it, though I imagine there may be a way to skip the time forward (so can visit an inn to immediately turn night into

This sounds good and I'm disappointed in myself that this is the first I've heard of it. Is it streaming anywhere?

I recommend "Fantasy Life". It was described to me as Animal Crossing meets Zelda meets Skyrim and that's fairly apt. Its by the guys who did Professor Layton so its got that oddball cartoonish character design which extends to your own character creation. You can do any of several different jobs, all of which offer

Wasn't there a foreign film advertised a few years back with a similar premise where every student who has ever died in the school is stuck there until they graduate? Then a teacher dies in the school (or maybe he's just psychic?) and he's got to get them all to pass. Seem to remember a preview or teaser for this ages

But it was one hell of an arcade game.

Spoken like someone who was never a kid who spent hours in the arcade suddenly seeing that as a potential doorway to adventure. Of course you want to beat the high score, but why? What if it meant you could save the universe?

Look at him standing there! Like a little Rory Calhoun!

This level was interesting to look at but the Milkman level to me was the best simply due to the satire of the one-liners said by the agents as they try to blend in to their roles. Makes me wonder if there's an artist/writer dividing line as to who thinks which level is the best.
