Then he let ownership rights slip away and he saw what a mess that became. Hence no sequels for Nightbreed or Lord of Illusions. Though I would pay good money to see the Pinhead/Harry D'Amour crossover movie he said he was interested in developing a while back.

I have heard tale of this so many times I refuse to even consider that you might not be joking.

Beetlejuice?

I don't care if Monday's black.
Tuesday, Wednesday? Heart attack.
Thursday? Never looking back.

This same person also says "This is awful. Try it." don't they?

I liked most of The Terror but felt that it fell apart completely at the end, to the point that I have a hard time recommending it to people. The fact that it sounds like this has the exact opposite problem is not particularly encouraging.

I'm fine with a switch to fists if it gets me fights like the two on one battle in The Raid. That was just incredible to watch.

I like the Mechanic well enough but it falls into the category of movies which didn't need ot be remade. Its hard improve on the casting when the stars are Charles Bronson and Jan Michael Vincent. Though had I a time machine I would have accepted Charles Bronson and Jason Statham.

I liked Dredd more than I thought I would but the fact that the plot was just Raid warmed over was kind of hard to get past. I kept thinking "I've seen this movie before and kicked more ass last time"

Seriously, when did Juanito start writing articles here?

In addition to trend towards the resurrection of old action actors, last year saw the return of an old action director in a mainstream big budget film. I'd like to hear what the author's take is on Iron Man 3. Is the problem that most new mainstream directors don't have the chops to produce worthwhile action? Or is it

I remember it being shown on air and then never being shown in repeats due to its content. The next time I saw it was on a purchased VHS tape so I was surprised to hear it actually showed up in syndication.
When I was a kid there was always a focus on family first and how that was the most important institution.

The "gods among men" aspects of many of the more serious stories stand against this idea. The spandex is crucial to the story they're telling. You couldn't make Watchmen without superheroes.

400 Lux doesn't get a lot of love in reviews, but that little "And I like you" she has tucked in there before each line of the chorus is just catchy as hell. Its part of the strongest album opening I've found in a while.

I got a Firefly notification for this?!

Liked for "God of Cookery". Funny as hell in parts but also many places which were just awkward, I assume due to cultural barriers.

Hall & Oates, "Private Eyes". Its not explicitly electronic survellance but if they really "see your every move" its more than likely.

Aardman movies are full of puns, from the title on down. But those puns are OK because they didn't come from a big budget studio…

Aurora Boreanaz is fond of wordplay? Well I never…

I would guess the best way to read this review is "If you liked the first one you will be slightly disappointed in this one. But as this trash is beneath me, fuck all yall"
