Monneypenny still showed strong and saved Bond's ass in the Kimodo pit (!), even if she did later choose a desk job. I didn't like in the end that M missed the guy she was shooting at. He shoots her, she fails to shoot him, then Bond kills him for her. If anywhere gender roles went back it was there. She had already

When Bond and M are first headed there she says something like "its easier to get recruits from an orphanage" or something like that. Its not an orphanage, as pointed out here, but you're not crazy for thinking it was.

If I got flagged I didn't see a notification for it and my post is gone too. My guess is my comment pretty much implied the text of the original so once it was removed I had to go as well. And Pud's post, was under mine so it went with it.

I don't know. The first one was pretty terrible.

Maybe. Some of the pun examples above are really shitty.

I like the flocking behavior, the "ants" comparison above is apt, but I wish they weren't fast zombies, particularly this weird super fast variety. That scene of the bodies piling up outside the wall until they can get over it is great but its all tension. If they were slow zombies you'd get more time to appreciate

Hewing closer to the book would have been a better conclusion to the whole zombie phase of cinema: The zombies came, they were horrible, but humanity prevailed and moved on.

I actually prefer Warren Ellis' work on the title. I liked how there was often an issue at play as to whether or not magic even existed. His issue "The Crib" is one of my all time favorites.

Same thing, larger instrument.
