Are human centipedes to play in role in your "staycation"?

The good news - my friends are no longer going to be kept awake by a kitten meowing outside their window!

I made Giada's Mushroom Ragu last night and it's good but somehow too fruity and not really earthy like I'd like a mushroom ragu to be.  So I have a decent lunch for the rest of the week but have to continue my search for a good mushroom sauce for pasta.

If I had a dollar for every time I had to look up "nonplussed", I could hire someone to follow me around reminding me what it means.

Dammit, why can't we delete our own comments!

I have so much fondness for Murder by Death, and she's really good in it (as is everyone).  When it was shown on TV (in the pre-VCR days) we would pop popcorn in oil on the stovetop, turn off the lights, and have family movie night.  Great childhood memories.  RIP.

@avclub-4b0732dd2e072509479e21645ba653b3:disqus I went there last year after a long absence and there are almost no rides for anyone shorter than 36 inches, so you will definitely want the little ones to be at least 7 or so.  If you go, you have to go during the week - the lines on the weekends are outrageous.

The Weather Channel gives the weather for Sanduskys in about 9 other states.

If you aren't into roller coasters you wouldn't know about it, but it really is a mecca for coaster fans.  Even people I know in GA (where I live now) have travelled there, or at least made it a destination as part of a vacation.

Yikes!  I thought you were kidding, but according to Google Maps there is also a Swastika, NY, and a Swastika Lake in Wyoming.

There are 9-10 states that have a Sandusky in it.  Ohio's is just the most well-known because of Cedar Point.

Not just "an amusement park" but Cedar Point!!

I had a friend who went to Beaver College!!  Has the county changed its name as well?

Second Nightjohn!!!!!

It's a close call, for sure.  I think I like the rhythm section of Nowhere to Run better.

This post has turned out to be much less controversial than I expected :)Quicksand is good but less memorable for me (I had to go listen to it).  I think it lacks some of the anxious energy of some of the other songs that to me characterize the Martha and the Vandellas sound.

Controversial opinion on Martha and the Vandellas' songs:  Nowhere to Run > Heat Wave > Dancing in the Streets

Redacted because I hadn't read the linked article.

One might say it is perfectly cromulent.

No way!  Poor guy.
