I've been meaning to see that, now I definitely need to!

I have often thought that a movie based on the revenge of the death of a pet would be a great movie, so I was thrilled to see this pop up today and even more thrilled that it seems to be quite good. We had a discussion at work the other day with one non-pet-owner giving us the "I can't believe how much people spend on

The Great Shame has been sitting on my shelf for ages.  May I'll get to that after tackling Godel Escher Bach.

Get a room, you two!

What about Matthew Broderick?  Does he sing?

I would say of the guys I know personally and professionally, about 80% of them would never cheat on their spouse.

Yes, this comment seems more an objection to the idea of marriage, and that's fine, but I'm with you that when you make a pledge like that, then yes, there are certain expectations to be met.

haters gonna hate, donaters gonna donate.

Thank you!  It irrationally annoys me when AV Clubbers don't quote KITH with the frequency and vehemency of Arrested Development or Archer.  KITH are unbelievably quotable.

I think I speak for all women when I say that we hate when a guy judges us on our intellect and personality.  JUST LOOK AT MY BOOBS!!

And that's why you should do all of the Random Roles.

I went to a comedy show Saturday night and Mike Lawrence was pretty funny.  I haven't been to a club in a while, and don't remember from my days of frequenting them the sheer number of, well, let's say "pussy-eating" jokes that I heard the other night. It's not that I'm opposed to them, but it was quite awkward being

I think I didn't like how neatly everything tied together, but it didn't bother me this time around.  I have heard great things about the follow-up books featuring Jackson, so that must have been in the back of my head to give it a second chance.  She really is a good writer, though!

Crosetti was a fucking great character.  I have watched Season 1 of that show dozens of times - what a great piece of television.

Freaks is so crazy.  The main couple were actually brother and sister in real life, which freaks me out just as much as the movie itself.  I read a biography of Tod Browning after that and whatever I could about teh performers.

For some reason I picked up Case Histories again, which disappointed me when I first read it, but I really enjoyed it this time through.
