You all love you, Will, but do you realize how shitty a comment like "I didn't get married until I was 30!" sounds to those of us in our 40s and are unmarried?

I loved it, too.
Food-wise: tonight a friend whose husband just asked for a divorce is coming to my house to stay for a while. I"m thinking a trip to the market to stock up on some good food is in order - definitely staying away from anything "couple-y" with her!
Have you read The Cruelest Miles? Great book about the serum drive to Nome, and really sad to consider what those dogs suffered and how many died during that run.
Going back to the restaurant challenge episode, when Kristen said she wanted her restaurant to be more formal, the judges seemed to perk up a bit. Most people where throwing around comfort food concepts and she seems to stand out with a more elegant approach.
You had me at "magically endowed".
I love wine but often skip it due to sinus issues. I am generally pretty annoyed by the lack of non-alcoholic beverages in restaurants. I love ginger ale, and Blenheims leads the list, although I will also make my own ginger-bay syrup for a non-sparkling, lemonade-type beverage. Trader Joe's has a great sparkling…
I had a friend that also got that feedback. I wish I would have gotten that, rather than the calvacade of "matches" who really were just men in a general age range and zip code.
I had the same experience. After my friend met a great guy on it (that she ended up marrying and really they are perfect for each other) I decided to try it and did not even end up going on a date with anyone since so few of the guys seemed to just be within my general age range as the defining characteristic.
Michael Ruhlman deserves the fame that so many other, lesser cook/authors have.
That really does sound good! Was it completely cabbage-free?
I made duck with braised carrots over the weekend, but I'm consistentl lazy during the week and end up just getting take out. I did make a beer bread last night that was pretty good, though.
I wouldn't recommend it. Even for a thick tuna steak that would probably be a bit much (any acid in the marinade will start cooking the fish as well). I normally just do a dry rub on my salmon, put it for a few minutes skine side up on a hot cast iron skillet, flip it over and if it is a think piece stick it in the…
Since the earth is only 6000 year old, that really counts for a lot, too!
What about Mark Curry?
I object to that characterization! Some of us prefer wine!
My first thought was binary fission.
Man, that movie is sooooooo good.
It was Kiefer.
