Funny enough, this is why I stopped liking him (and the show). In "True Stories I Made Up," he came across as a sort of Sarah Silverman-type figure. The jokes were offensive (comically or legitimately), but the gag was that he was a bit of a buffoon for making them. He also did a great job of calling the audience out

As always, Cookie Monster with the insight. I tapped out on The Simpsons at precisely this point, where the show kept making meta-jokes about the lazy writing, rather than attempting to address the problems in the writing. One episode isn't a death spin, but I haven't felt enthused with this season so far.

Dave Grohl + 20 years = Steve Wozniak.

One too many, but I'll give you the "like" for a good pull.

To be honest, the "gay or bi" hesitation is itself a… "concession" (yuck) to the underlying vagueness of his narrative. Gawker posted him as gay, then corrected after commenters noted he was (a) only referring to his first experience of love, and (b) was pretty clear that he had relationships with women before that

He also sings the hook on "No Church in the Wild" (and "Made In America"). He's a legitimately fast-rising star and this album is likely to break him into "mainstream" R&B. He's in no way established yet, though, and I am absolutely floored at how brave the timing the on this thing is.

Yeah, when the singer/songwriter of a two person band says he needs to leave “in order to progress,” he's basically saying "that other guy is such an a-hole that I need to walk away from the recognizable brand that I created."  It's not even like the White Stripes, where so much of the identity was wrapped up in the

The tangents on the Flop House blow the tangents on We Hate Movies out of the water. Anyhooo….

Enormous success with aggressive "outside the bubble" sneering. He hit a point where he couldn't just cash checks by dancing for 15 year olds and he

Jaguar didn't pay for it. There was an article a while back about how Weiner doesn't accept (or seek) product placement money for a lot of the items in the show so he can maintain creative control over how they're used.

Community, Walking Dead, Mad Men, Breaking Bad; not a bingo, but I take bonus points for only using shows still on the air.
