Good work everyone! I was so impressed with this thread that I just had to log in. Wood that all threads were so good

I'm disappointed with Janos Slynt. He's not nearly the sleazeball he's made out to be in the books

2 Righteous 2 Kill

Hey, can someone say more about how the episode ended, for those of us who gave up ~5 episodes ago? The river morphs? What?

I'd gladly offer up my services as groupie/fawning sycophant

On the other hand, Nick and Sadie were like, "Nice to you again" in the doctor's office

Rewatched The Thick Of It after seeing the trailer for Veep, and didn't enjoy it as much as I remember. The show's meanness towards its characters jumped out at me a lot, and no one, other than the fabulous Malcolm Tucker, was particularly sympathetic.

This is LITERALLY UNBELIEVABLE

Confirmed

I've always been a big fan of the Destination Moon/Explorers on the Moon. I love me some retro-futuristic space travel

Tintin in America has a certain charm to it I think. For one thing it provides us with a 1930's America as filtered through Herge's imagination, filled with gangsters and cowboys and Native American exploitation. Or the idea that Tintin, "world reporter number 1" has been called in to clean up Chicago.

It's not name dropping if it comes up organically!

Does that happen a lot??

I'll say it: I miss unregistered  commentators

I just rewatched the "Our Home" episode, and there's this scene in Lazer Hospital where Lake Bell is laughing this huge open mouth laugh and it is really terrifying

Unrelated, but the Always Sunny ep where they make vision boards is one of my favourite.

Speaking of memoirs and Ondaatje, Running In The Family is quite good, revolving around an adult Ondaatje returning to Sri Lanka for the first time
